Returns

As a retailer, Savage Jewellery adheres to the guidelines outlined in the Consumer Law 2015. According to this law, retailers are obligated to offer consumers high-quality products. All items must meet the criteria of being satisfactory, fit for purpose, and accurately described. Satisfactory refers to the absence of faults or damages unless stated otherwise, fit for purpose implies suitability for its intended use, and described signifies conformity to the product's description.

 

At Savage Jewellery, we acknowledge that customers may occasionally change their minds about their purchases. As a retailer, we have a clearly stated and easily accessible returns policy, which customers are expected to be aware of and agree to when placing an order with us.

 

For any unwanted items (excluding earrings and body jewellery) where a customer has changed their mind, they must contact us within 14 days of placing the order. Once contact has been made, the customer will be required to return the item at their own expense, preferably with tracking information. Upon receipt of the item, a full refund will be issued for the price of the product, excluding postage and packaging. However, if we determine that the item has not been returned in satisfactory condition, we reserve the right to offer a credit note or voucher instead of a payment refund.

 

Unfortunately, due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns for earrings or body jewellery, as our packaging is not sealed and we cannot verify if the item has been in contact with the body. However, we will gladly replace or repair any damaged items. We apologize for any inconvenience caused, but we prioritize hygiene to ensure the safety of all our customers.

 

In the case of faulty goods, they must be reported within 30 days of placing the order. We will offer a replacement, repair, or refund, either through a payment refund or a credit note/voucher, if we determine that the fault does not meet the quality product terms outlined above.

 

As a small business, we strive to have satisfied returning customers. We thoroughly check and ensure the quality of all our products before dispatching them. Our packaging provides adequate stability and padding to protect the items during transit, so we are confident that your product will arrive in the expected condition.



Shipping

We are located in the United Kingdom, but we have the capability to ship to any destination worldwide. It is important to be aware that certain UK postcodes or international locations may have restrictions imposed by the courier you select.

 

When placing an order, it is mandatory to select a courier service of your preference. The prices for postage and packaging are obtained directly from the courier's website. The estimated shipping and delivery dates are determined by the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the chosen shipping provider, shipping date estimates may be displayed on the shipping quotes page.

 

Additionally, please take note that the shipping rates for our products are calculated based on the estimated weight and size provided by the courier's website. To comply with the shipping companies' policies, all estimated weights will be rounded up to the nearest pound.

 

For standard postage rates, we typically ship on the same day or arrange for courier collection on the next available day. In the case of any special shipping requests, such as next-day delivery, we strive to dispatch all items promptly as instructed by the courier company. This ensures that you receive your order within the specified timeframe. However, it is important to understand that any issues related to the courier's service are the responsibility of the courier themselves, not us. If you have any inquiries regarding the whereabouts of your order, you can utilize your tracking number and contact the courier directly.
